• Approach

Assessments follow NICE guidelines (in line with the NHS) and use clinically proven psychometric tests measuring attention, executive functioning, impulsivity and hyperactivity, selected for validity, reliability and sensitivity. The process is holistic, combining a thorough verbal interview with collateral information from family members or close associates, and is tailored to each individual, recognising that ADHD and autism present differently and can coexist with other conditions such as learning disabilities or mood disorders. Therapy is described as evidence-based and tailored following an initial consultation or assessment, with the aim of equipping clients with skills to maintain wellbeing after therapy ends.

• Admissions

Clients can book a free 15-minute consultation by phone (020 4600 5600) or email (hello@mapp-psychology.com); for therapy, an initial consultation or assessment is used to match the client with a suitable programme.
