The Autism Service - Glasgow

• What they offer / teach

The Autism Service provides private in-person Autism, ADHD and combined Autism & ADHD assessments for both children and adults, along with online screening tests, ADHD medication support, and information resources/news articles. They operate a network of over 40 clinics across the UK offering face-to-face and virtual appointments, and state that diagnoses are recognised by other agencies.

• Ages served

The page states services for both children and adults, with separate 'Child Hub' and 'Adult Hub' assessment pathways, but no specific minimum or maximum age is given.

• Approach

They describe themselves as a clinician-led company that believes autism and ADHD assessments should always be carried out in-person and to a high standard. Assessments are delivered by a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals from psychology, psychiatry, nursing, speech and language therapy and occupational therapy, with each clinician regulated by an independent body to ensure a clear standard of care.

• Admissions

Prospective clients use the website search tool to find their nearest clinic (filtering by assessment type), then submit an online booking request form with contact details and background information. An administrator then contacts them to discuss assessment needs and schedule appointments, with appointments stated to be available within four weeks.

• Cost

The page states that payment is taken when an administrator contacts you to schedule appointments, but no fees or prices are given.
