The page is largely a news feed describing school life rather than a curriculum outline: monthly assemblies with Signalong songs, a school choir, show productions (e.g. The Jungle Book, The Pilrig Express winter show), a Foodwise class and a FutureChef cookery competition with other ASN schools, an Eco-Committee (Green Flag award), Pupil Council/Pupil Voice lessons, a Cultural Calendar and inclusive sport events such as 'Relay Your Way'. It also signposts families to Edinburgh Council's Support for Families webpages covering financial, ASN and parenting support.
Not stated on this website. The page refers to junior and senior pupils, year groups and 'young people', but gives no specific ages.
The school emphasises Inclusive Communication, with staff completing Signalong Level 1 training led by a Speech and Language Therapist and Signalong videos shared for families to practise at home. It also highlights inclusion through its Eco-Committee, pupil voice, celebration of cultures and participation in inclusive sport for young people with disabilities.
