• What they offer / teach

Wolfdale School is an Independent Specialist School with multiple sites in Leicestershire, offering a bespoke, personalised curriculum delivered partly outside the classroom — including learning in the forest, at the stables, and in local shops, on buses and at leisure centres. Additional provision listed includes inclusion/SENCO support, art therapy, emotional support animals (including Tilly, an emotional support dog) and wellbeing, alongside careers and qualifications.

• Ages served

The school states its provision is for young people aged 7-16 years old.

• Approach

The school aims to build resilience and remove social and emotional barriers to educational achievement, using a bespoke pathway approach with lessons based on personal interests and learning through experience. It emphasises appropriate expectations and bespoke support so young people feel safe and secure, working together with families/carers and the individual in an environment of nurture and support, with a focus on emotional support, social development and academic progress regardless of diagnosis.

• Admissions

The page text says provision is for young people with an Education Health and Care Plan and those with a diagnosis including ASD, ADHD, Anxiety and Social Emotional Mental Health, and there is an 'Admissions' menu item, but no admissions process is described. Prospective families are invited to email office@wolfdaleschool.leics.sch.uk, call 0116 2355600 or use the contact form.
