Wilson Stuart is a special academy school (part of the Education Impact Academy Trust) providing education from Early Years through to Post 16 via its 'Get Real' curriculum, which focuses on real-life experiences and preparing students for adulthood through resilience and independence. The curriculum is split into pathways — EYFS, Challenge, Explore, Believe and Inspire — and learning includes sensory exploration, play, outdoor learning and accreditation. It is a school rather than an after-school or holiday club; the site mentions a 'Lets Play Together' link but gives no details.
The school is for students aged 2–19 years, from Early Years through to Post 16.
It is a special school for students with complex physical disabilities and medical needs, and all students in its care have an Education Health Care Plan in place. The page describes a team of committed staff who are passionate about meeting students' needs and who provide support in a specialist provision setting, with progress carefully monitored and evidenced; staff work closely with partner schools Queensbury and Mayfield.
