Discovery Village is an immersive indoor role play centre with nine unique themed play areas set around a traditional British village. Two-hour performer-led play sessions guide children through interactive storytelling filled with song, dance, and imaginative play, with each day following a 'Story of the Day' theme such as caring for animals at the vets or working at the fire station.
The centre is designed for children aged 1–8 years.
The website mentions SEN-friendly visits are advertised and describes the play areas as 'brimming with toys, costumes, and sensory delights.' The venue welcomes families of all abilities and ensures everyone can enjoy the experience. Facilities include little toilet seats for young children.
The website describes Discovery Village as 'a calmer alternative to soft play' with limited visitor numbers so that 'you and your children will always have the space they need to explore and play.'
