Hi, im Laura, I am a qualified and registered BACP counsellor based in Bournemouth, offering a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace. I offer a range of counselling options depending on what feels right for you. I provide in-person counselling in Bournemouth, as well as online and telephone sessions across the UK, making therapy accessible and flexible. I work with adults and young people from many different backgrounds and experiences. Many people I support are dealing with anxiety, trauma, burnout, low self-esteem, or relationship issues, many clients I work with are neurodivergent and may have a diagnosis or identify as Autistic, ADHD or neurodivergent. Often clients come to me who are diagnosed later in life as adults or are questioning and wanting to explore their neurodivergence and maybe unpack past experiences which may bring grief and many feelings to the surface, in therapy you are supported to process some of these feelings and experiences in a safe therapeutic relationship. I also have experience working with young people as a therapeutic mentor alongside my private practice with neurodivergent and disabled young people, some of whom have experienced school-based anxiety and trauma, so I understand the toll of trying to fit into schools and workplaces that don't meet your needs.
