• What they offer

All-Aboard Water Sports is a Bristol charity (since 1974) running water-based activities in Bristol city harbour, including sailing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, boat building, rowing, paddleboarding and powerboating. It lists after-school and holiday clubs, youth activities, group and school bookings, RYA courses, shore-based courses, and adult/corporate sessions. It also advertises SEND sailing plus Sailability, Paddleability and Powerability sessions, provision for special schools and disability groups, and rowing opportunities for people with visual impairments.

• Ages served

  Not stated on this website.

• SEN support & staffing

Sessions are run by what the page calls a highly trained team of instructors, staff and volunteers, and the charity aims for 50% of participants to identify as having a disability, long term health condition, social isolation or socio-economic disadvantage, or other limitations on accessing watersports. Dedicated disability provision is listed (SEND sailing, Sailability/Paddleability/Powerability, special schools and disability groups, rowing for people with visual impairments), but no detail on staff SEN qualifications or ratios is given.

• How to book

The site has "Book" links for youth activities, Sailability/Powerability/Paddleability, sailing, powerboating, paddlesports, swimming, rowing and shore-based courses. You can also call 0117 929 08 01 or email [email protected].

• Cost

No prices are given; the page says the charity receives no central or local government support and relies on donations to keep providing sessions at reasonable cost to those facing challenging circumstances. It also mentions childcare vouchers and gift vouchers.
